Integration layer

The first layer integrates and visualizes data from end-of-line or after-sales diagnostic tools in a structured and aggregated way. User-friendly dashboards showing sessions, flash results, DID/PID parameter data, and tool performance enable users to understand trends relating to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC), technical actions, and hardware performance.

Analysis layer

The analysis layer digs deeper into the data, identifying the causes of vehicle errors with a variety of pre-set functionalities displaying top and latest DTCs, as well as trend analyses. Using sophisticated technologies such as machine learning and algorithms especially developed for DTC sequencing, the layer recognizes patterns from historical data. This makes it possible to resolve complex issues, resulting in reduced spendings in warranty or NTF claims.

Finally, the cultivation layer is the entrance to the future of vehicle diagnostics: artificial intelligence enables the connected data from various sources to generate predictions on upcoming issues, for example by clustering faults by event timestamp or distance, or by identifying the most likely repair (MLR). GRADE-X Insight thus covers all use cases associated with the software-defined vehicle.
