Measure data analyzer (MDA) is a tool designed for the efficient evaluation, visualization, and processing of measurement data from ECU and vehicle systems. MDA supports quick processing of large files, extensive data volumes, numerous signals, and complex channel groups. Supported file formats are MDF as well as textual (ASCII-based) formats. An add-on to load CAN bus trace files is available.

Measure data analyzer add-ons

These add-ons offer powerful extensions to Measure data analyzer, ensuring you have the tools necessary for comprehensive data analysis and integration tailored to your specific needs.

This add-on enables MDA to support the loading of CAN and CAN FD bus trace files in BLF, ETAS ASCII, or Vector ASCII formats. In combination with a CAN bus description file (DBC or ARXML), this add-on allows you to extract and utilize signals from the trace file within MDA as you would with ordinary measurement files. This makes it a powerful tool for engineers who need to analyze and work with CAN bus data seamlessly within the MDA environment.

Enhance your data analysis by integrating video files recorded with the INCA add-on. With this add-on, MP4 video files can be visualized within a dedicated video instrument in MDA. This allows for synchronized video and data analysis, providing a richer, more contextual understanding of your measurements.

For users who prefer to handle measurement files outside of the MDA user interface, the MCD Core add-on is the perfect solution. This add-on allows you to manage and process measurement files using external tools such as MATLAB or Python without needing to develop your own file handling and data processing functions. The MCD Core is ideal for those who require a flexible and customizable approach to data handling.

The ODS (Open Data Services) add-on connects MDA to an ODS database on an ODS server. This highly customizable solution allows customers to define how their database is structured, providing flexibility tailored to specific needs. While ODS is typically customer-specific, the ODS add-on can be adapted to other customer requirements on demand, making it a versatile tool for those who need to integrate MDA with their existing ODS infrastructure.

MDA Service Packs

Quarterly released Service Packs allow users to benefit from the continuous development of MDA V8. A new Service Pack installation replaces the former Service Pack installation (of the same MDA V8.x version). Reuse of configurations created with an older MDA V8 version is possible.
