Battery imbalance table instrument

The battery cell voltages measured from the BMS are compared with the mean voltage of all cells to visualize the imbalance. A new table instrument provides the calculated imbalance for each battery cell. The table is dynamically sorted by the absolute value of the imbalance.

As a result, the cells with the highest imbalance are always shown in the topmost rows. This allows users to focus on the outlier cells, which define the performance of the battery. Additional signals (for example temperature) make it possible to identify the reason for the imbalance.

The battery cell voltages measured from the BMS are compared with the mean voltage of all cells to visualize the imbalance. A new graph instrument visualizes the calculated imbalance for each battery cell as vertical bar. This gives users an overview of the battery back imbalance. Furthermore, this view enables them to visually identify clusters and to detect correlation with the physical setup (modules arrangement).

The battery cell voltages measured from the BMS are compared with the mean voltage of all cells to visualize the imbalance. A new histogram instrument puts the battery cells into bins based on their imbalance. This view gives users a good overview of the overall balance of the battery pack.
