The easy-to-integrate ETAS ES820 driver recorder captures and records signals from ECUs, buses, networks, sensors, and measuring instruments in the vehicle. It is compatible with ETAS INCA, the standard tool for measurement, ECU calibration, and diagnostics. The ES820 is designed for flexible use in the passenger compartment or vehicle trunk, at the test bench, and in laboratories.

Acquisition of measurement data

You can use bus traffic, ignition, digital signals, or timers to activate the drive recorder in a targeted way. This allows you to have measurement tasks to be carried out autonomously. Four digital inputs and four digital outputs are available via a connector. They can serve as triggers or markers (inputs) and can display system statuses or events (outputs). In addition, you can operate the front panel control elements by a remote panel, for example from the driver’s seat.

Flexible connections
The ECUs can be connected flexibly to the drive recorder via ETK, XETK or FETK interfaces and multiple LIN, CAN/CAN FD, and FlexRay buses.
