Simone has built a distinguished career at Bosch and ETAS, driving innovation and business transformation in the fields of software-defined vehicles, cloud solutions, and connected mobility. With a background in business development and technical sales, she has consistently delivered impactful results by shaping strategies, defining business models, and leading diverse, cross-regional teams.

Simone's journey began in 2008 at Bosch, where she led hardware development teams for hybrid and electric vehicle power electronics. Over the years, she transitioned into roles that focused on business strategy, technical sales, and portfolio management. In particular, she played a key role in defining and implementing go-to-market strategies for cloud services, onboarding customers worldwide, and driving innovations like Firmware-Over-The-Air solutions.

In 2023, Simone joined ETAS as the Department Head of Vehicle Cloud Solutions, where she oversees a team of 15 and is responsible for crafting the sales strategy for Vehicle Cloud Services across Europe. Her work includes aligning the product portfolio with Bosch Mobility's vision of the Software Defined Vehicle, creating business models, and supporting pre-sales and acquisition activities for over 30 customers globally.

In addition to her leadership role, Simone serves as the Project Manager for a key subproject within Bosch's Mobility Company Transformation Project: "Software Company". This initiative focuses on defining the Target Operating Model for Bosch's Software and Service business, including value creation processes, roles and responsibilities, and governance structures.

Simone's leadership philosophy centers on fostering collaboration, innovation, and efficiency within her teams. Through her roles at Bosch and ETAS, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to advancing the future of mobility, consistently bridging technical excellence with customer-centric solutions.

Carina’s journey at ETAS began in 2010 when she joined ESCRYPT as a student. She quickly became a versatile team member, assisting wherever support was needed. In 2013, Carina transitioned into a full-time role, where she immediately took on the challenge of joining the sales team – a leap that allowed her to explore new opportunities and develop her technical expertise.

Her role in sales led to a relocation to Munich, where she deepened her relationships with automotive customers and played a pivotal role in building sales-controlling processes and tools. Her innovative approach and customer insights drove her to advocate for better go-to-market strategies for security services. This advocacy led to the creation of a dedicated Product Manager role, which Carina eventually took on.

In 2022, Carina assumed her current role as Product Field Manager for Professional Security Services. Her career has spanned technical development, sales, and strategic leadership, providing her with a broad perspective and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.

Carina attributes much of her success to her ability to embrace challenges. After a two-year pause from running, she completed a half-marathon in October – a milestone achieved by leveraging her curiosity and love for learning. She found motivation in discovering new podcasts and exploring unfamiliar trail-running routes, an approach she applies in her professional life to overcome obstacles and achieve her goals.

Throughout her career, Carina has been actively involved in mentoring programs at Bosch and ETAS, gaining valuable insights and offering guidance to others. Reflecting on her experiences, she says, "It’s important to remain open to new viewpoints. While you’re learning from others, they’re also gaining insights from your perspective. This mutual exchange has been a cornerstone of my growth."

Carina’s career path exemplifies how curiosity, resilience, and a focus on collaboration can drive meaningful achievements and inspire others.

Chiara’s journey at ETAS began in 2014, shortly after earning her Electronics Engineering degree from the University of Genoa. Starting as a Resident Engineer in Turin, she provided technical and commercial support to customers. In 2016, she moved to Stuttgart to take on a role as Global Field Application Engineer, focusing on pre-selling activities for new products. Today, as a Product Manager, Chiara leads product development while closely collaborating with sales and marketing teams.

Each step of her career has provided invaluable experiences. In Turin, she gained hands-on technical knowledge and strengthened her customer-focused approach. Her role in Stuttgart broadened her perspective through international collaboration and strategic pre-selling activities. Now, as a Product Manager, she bridges customer requirements and product innovation, ensuring successful market launches.

Chiara’s career has been marked by key achievements, including introducing new products and overcoming complex technical challenges. Her success stems from a combination of technical expertise, effective communication, and a customer-first mindset. Challenges such as coordinating cross-functional teams and navigating diverse market needs were met with her problem-solving abilities, collaborative spirit, and proactive approach.

As the first female engineer at ETAS Italy, Chiara has been deeply involved in diversity initiatives like Women@Bosch and Women@ETAS. Mentorship programs provided her with valuable insights and connections with senior leaders, shaping both her career and personal growth. These programs continue to offer her a platform for exchanging ideas and navigating work-life balance.

Daniela joined ETAS in 2022 as an assistant in the matrix organization of Engineering Excellence. Shortly after, she took on the challenging role of assisting the newly appointed CTO, leveraging her extensive experience as an Executive Assistant at the C-suite level. This dual role allowed her to showcase her capabilities and establish herself as a trusted partner within the leadership team.

In her current role, Daniela not only supports the CTO but also collaborates with the Head of Engineering Excellence and serves as a vital link to Board Assistants and various solution teams. Among her proudest achievements is the creation of an Artificial Intelligence network for assistants, which led to the establishment of a steering committee under the assistants@bosch initiative. She also played a key role as a test user for MS Copilot during a pilot project.

Daniela credits her success to the encouragement and coaching from her managers, who have supported her in developing skills such as moderation, AI training, and serving as a Mental Health First Aider (MHFA). At ETAS, she values the supportive work culture, built on trust and appreciation, as well as the flexible working hours that enable her to engage in voluntary hospice work and uphold her personal values.

As a highly sensitive individual, Daniela is an advocate for diversity and women’s empowerment. She encourages women to seek mentorship, invest in their professional growth, and embrace networking opportunities. Her philosophy: "Success is about people, not numbers. We should care more and create environments where everyone can shine."

During her master’s program in Information Systems at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), she participated in a mentoring program with Bosch, which opened the door to working student roles at both Bosch and ETAS. These experiences ignited her passion for DevOps and cloud development, ultimately shaping her decision to pursue a full-time career in this field.

In March 2024, she joined ETAS as a full-time employee on the CDW project. Her time at ETAS has been defined by dual responsibilities: as a developer and Scrum Master. Balancing these roles presented initial challenges, as the goals of development and project management often overlapped or conflicted. Navigating these complexities helped her refine her project and time management skills, teaching her to prioritize and adapt while handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

At ETAS, she thrives in a collaborative and supportive team environment, where her colleagues motivate her to continuously grow as a developer. In turn, she shares her own expertise, fostering a culture of mutual encouragement and professional development. ETAS’s commitment to employee growth is evident in opportunities such as attending conferences and other industry events.

This year, she had the opportunity to attend KubeCon, where she connected with Kubernetes enthusiasts from around the world. The conference provided a platform to exchange ideas, learn best practices, and deepen her understanding of cloud technologies—further fueling her enthusiasm for this dynamic field.

As an advocate for learning and sharing knowledge, she actively participates in mentoring programs at ETAS. She encourages others to embrace opportunities such as conferences, fairs, hackathons, and mentoring programs, emphasizing their value in gaining diverse perspectives and unlocking personal and professional growth.
